An ADHD coach supports adults to understand and regulate how their nervous system, attention, emotions, and energy function in daily life.
My work is trauma-informed and somatic, meaning we work with body-based signals alongside reflection and practical strategy. The aim is not to fix or force productivity, but to build self-trust, regulation, and sustainable capacity so change lasts.
No. ADHD coaching is not therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
Coaching is present- and future-focused, working with awareness, nervous system regulation, self-trust, and practical change. If therapeutic or clinical support is needed, I support appropriate referrals.
I offer therapeutic coaching, not therapy. We work with present-moment nervous system experiences and body awareness.
Past experiences may be referenced only when they are already integrated and relevant to current patterns.
I do not work with unintegrated trauma, depression, severe anxiety, or other severe mental health conditions requiring clinical treatment, and I support appropriate referrals where needed.
Therapy typically focuses on diagnosis, treatment of mental health conditions, and processing past trauma.
My work is coaching, not clinical treatment. We focus on regulation, decision-making, identity, self-trust, and how to function sustainably in work and life. Coaching supports change without replacing therapy or medical care.
I commonly support adults experiencing:
• Chronic overwhelm and nervous system overload
• Decision paralysis and difficulty choosing direction
• Perfectionism and fear of getting it wrong
• Burnout masked by high functioning
• Over-responsibility and difficulty resting
• Career confusion or repeated dissatisfaction
• Difficulty trusting themselves or their internal signals
• Fear of missing our, fear of being seen or fear of failure
• Fear of rejection and challenges with setting up boundaries
• People pleasing challenges, always saying 'yes' and regretting decisions later due to overwhelmed
• As well as other challenges in professional and personal life
Coaching makes these patterns visible and workable rather than something to push through.
ADHD is fundamentally a system regulation difference, not a lack of effort or motivation. When the nervous system is dysregulated, focus, memory, motivation, and emotional regulation become harder. Somatic coaching helps restore regulation so focus becomes more available.
