ADHD Coaching & Mentoring
When There’s Too Much Going On
When there is too much going on in your mind, it can be hard to know what actually needs your attention. You may have too many thoughts, too many possibilities, unfinished tasks, decisions going round in circles, strong emotions and responsibilities all competing for space at the same time.
You might know that something needs to change or that there is something you need to do, but still not know where to begin. In response, you may find yourself thinking harder, trying harder, searching for the right system or looking for the perfect answer. Instead of creating clarity, this can leave you feeling even more overwhelmed by everything you are trying to hold.
Underneath the practical difficulties, there can also be another layer of self-questioning. You may wonder whether you are doing enough, whether you are making the right decision, why you cannot simply get on with something, or whether you can trust yourself to know what is right for you.
My ADHD coaching gives us somewhere to slow all of this down, make sense of what is happening and begin finding a clearer way forward.

From chaos and confusion to clearer navigation
We begin by slowing things down and seeing what is actually happening. Together, we bring the different pieces into view, untangle thoughts, emotions, responsibilities, expectations and needs, and explore what may have become mixed together. This helps create more clarity around what is really asking for your attention and what might be driving the patterns you are experiencing.
From there, we work out what matters now and what the next step might be. Sometimes that is a decision, a conversation, a boundary, a practical tool, a different way of doing something or simply giving yourself permission to stop pushing.
You do not need to know the whole route. We choose, try, learn and adjust, helping you build greater confidence in how you navigate yourself and your life.
The Transformation
The aim is not a perfectly ordered mind. It is being able to navigate your mind, your life and periods of change with greater confidence.
Over time, confusion can become clarity, self-questioning can become self-understanding and self-trust, overwhelm can create more room for choice, and stuckness can begin to shift into movement. You may feel more decisive, see more possibilities, understand what matters and feel clearer about your next steps. You can develop tools, habits and structures that support you when things become chaotic, rather than relying on them to control you.
Life may still become busy, your attention may still move quickly and emotions can still feel intense, but you can become more able to find your bearings within it. That might mean feeling more balanced and emotionally steady, knowing when to take action and when to pause, facing challenges with greater confidence, reaching out for support when you need it and making choices that help you build more of the life, work and relationships you want.
The goal is not to remove uncertainty or chaos, but to help you develop the clarity, choice, self-understanding and confidence to decide what comes next and move towards it.

This coaching may not be the right fit if...
This coaching may not be the best fit if you are mainly looking for executive-function strategies, productivity systems, planning techniques or quick solutions for managing tasks and routines. Practical tools can be part of the work, but they are not the main focus.
The process works best when you are able to attend regularly, take an active part in the coaching and reflect on what happens between sessions. Change is collaborative, and the choices, experiments and actions that sit outside the sessions are an important part of the work.
Coaching is also not a replacement for psychotherapy, medical care or crisis support. If you are currently experiencing an acute crisis or significant emotional instability, therapeutic or clinical support may need to come first. Coaching may become more appropriate later, once there is enough stability to engage with the process safely.
Access to Work Grant for ADHD
If you're employed or self-employed in the UK, you may be eligible for Access to Work funding to cover the cost of ADHD coaching.
Access to Work is a government grant that supports employees with disabilities or health conditions, including ADHD, to access workplace adjustments and coaching. Many people don't realise coaching is covered.
If you're interested in using Access to Work, you apply directly through the government portal, and once approved, we can begin working together.
